{Share the Love – Part 2}

Wow! Wow! Wow! is all I can say about this FABULOUSLY GORGEOUS family! I had the best time photographing them against the urban backdrop of downtown Hollywood!

Let’s hope these two kiddos always get along so well!

{Share the Love = FABULOUS}

I was so fortunate this past Saturday to help with an AMAZING event, Share the Love. Along with some of South Florida’s top photographers, I was able to shoot a family session with ALL of the money going to Sow A Seed {a foundation that supports the people of Haiti}. I met some wonderful photographers and had a perfect day. Share the Love was hosted by a WONDERFUL women’s photography group here in South Florida called SoFly Photographers I have looked at each of the women’s sites and they are all extraordinary. Sorry, I am going on about it, but I am trying to suck up, because I TOTALLY want to be part of it! I have to try to have the patience to wait allll the way until July when they have their next “allow new photographers” meeting. I’m sure it will be here before I know it. I was blessed with a BEAUTIFUL family to photograph. Now I have to admit, I was pretty nervous considering they are best friends with Courtney Ortiz, a fantastic photographer who was instrumental in putting on the Share the Love event, but they were the sweetestfamily. I am sure glad Courtney shared her friends with me! Thanks you!

Now on to the photographs. Seriously… we only had 30 minutes… but I got sooo many great shots of them.

This is one of my favorites. The bond between this mommy and her daughter is undeniable.

{I heart family}

When I was about 12, I started my first baby-sitting job. Funny thing is my Mom still wouldn’t let me stay home by myself, even though I could be in charge of children alone at someone else’s house. Mr. and Mrs. Steiner would come pick me up at 5:30 or 6am every Saturday morning, so they could go running. I would sleep on their couch watching cartoons {the only thing on that early} and wait for their adorable kids to get up in the morning and cuddle on the couch with me. The Steiners are some of my all time favorite people.

They are some of the nicest people in the entire world! When Mindy and I were about 15 or 16, we talked to our parents about the fact that we did not want to move to Alabama if anything happened to them {where our fabulous Aunt and Uncle live}. Our parents asked us who we would want to be with, our response was instantly the Steiners. And they agreed, they agreed that if something happened they would take in two teenage girls, even though their children were years younger than us. Thankfully, we never had to take them up on that, but I wanted to give you background into the AMAZING people they are. I really can’t even begin to describe what I think about them!

While I was in St. Petersburg {where our family is from}, I was able to take just a couple pictures of them in my parents backyard. Not quite my normal scenic location, but they worked it anyway.

He could not be more handsome. I can’t believe the man he is becoming.

He is one of the best runners in his state – takes after his crazy parents who use to get up at 6am on Saturday to run.

I remember the first time Mindy {my sister} and I babysat this girl. She cried like a baby when we mentioned clowns.

She is such a wonderful girl and definitely will always be our little sister!

They are thinking about using one of these for his senior pictures.

I pick this one!

Oh and I love this one. So pretty!

And this last one is a shout out to Jasmine Star.

She always shows pictures of people laughing to prove she is funny!

So look at this… I am totally funny. See Brett.

The other day I received this beauty in the mail and couldn’t have been more excited! These are the newest product I am offering for portrait sessions. Why a bunch of individual prints? When you can have them in a beautifully bound album. Love it! Everyone should want one of these beautiful Finao albums.

Lori, great job on the cover choice! {There are many different options, but I love this one}

This is not only a great way to show off your pictures, but come on now, it would be such an awesome present.

Think about Grandma opening one of these on Christmas morning – I’m just saying!

In other news… today is my niece Kayleigh’s birthday! Happy Birthday KJ!

Last update. I have been having the MOST FUN WEEK.

Brett’s college roommate, Jarrod, came in town and we have been having a blast all week.

I.held.an.alligator.today. If that tells you anything. Many many pictures to come.

Oh and one last picture, this little cutie fell asleep on my couch last night! Oh baby Ayden.

{Christmas is coming… way too soon}

Last Sunday, I had the pleasure of photographing an adorable family for their Christmas cards. I wanted to give you a quick sneak peek at their cuteness. I won’t be posting any of the family shots yet – until they decide what they want their Holiday card image to be.

We took these at one of my favorite places in Broward County Tree Tops Park. {3900 S.W. 100th Ave. | Davie, FL 33328}

{The Farnsworth Family}

I recently had the pleasure of photographing the Farnswoth family. They suggested going to Phillipe Park in Safety Harbor and I sure am glad they did. It was beautiful and I wish I would have had more time to explore it. I’ve known Crystal since way back when we were in youth group together at church in St. Petersburg. It is so wonderful to see how she now has such a fabulous life, with a great husband and a beautiful daughter. Here are some of my favorites… even though it was very difficult to narrow it down.
