I can’t even imagine when I look at this picture.

{Too Cute}

Awhile ago I had the absolute honor of photographing my friend Courtney and her beautiful children before they moved from their old house. I say honor because Courtney is an incredibly talented photographer! She had the brilliant idea of getting images of them all together in the house the kids grew up in, before they moved. LOVE it. It was different for me to take a very journalistic approach to this session and basically just shoot what was happening. I must say I very much enjoyed it!

How could I really go wrong with subjects like this.

As you can see, she had no trouble ignoring my presence.

I LOVE this one!

Please let me look as HOT as Courtney when I’m a mom!

They are very intense with their sand.

Yep, my heart melts when I look at this one.

Okay, pretty much everything about this image is chaos. Stella walking towards me, Owen with his finger in his nose, Courtney just smiling at the craziness.

I LOVE everything about this shot. I wouldn’t change anything.

{A Challenge for You}

Okay since I am posting this kind of late you have two days to complete the challenge in the video, today and tomorrow. Leave me a comment and let me know what you did. I will tell you what I did tomorrow (you know… after I do it).

And here’s how I looked on my walk. I think I had about 3 miles to go at this point.

{12 Miles}

Whoa…. 3 and a half hours of walking. I definitely underestimated the amount of training that is necessary for my walk. But today I did my first huge walk, 12 miles. I must say although I’m pretty much dead tired, I’m super excited to have accomplished this!

I listened to an amazing podcast the entire way. If you’re a photographer, you should check out this awesome resource: Going Pro 2010.

Tomorrow the plan is to go 9 miles. On the beach… you know… so at least I can get a tan!

I shot this video literally RIGHT after my walk. Which you may have figured based on all the makeup under my eyes!

And here’s my self portrait which portrayed how I felt when I got home.

Here’s one of the times it looked pretty on my walk. I must say I actually did enjoy it. Even in the rain.

In other news, today was my 18 video. Woohoo!

{Drive}

Today I was absolutely amazed by the beauty as we were driving home. Between being sick ALL week and the constant rain, it felt wonderful to be riding along in the sunshine looking all the huge fluffy clouds in the perfectly blue sky. I wanted to share it with you. Hopefully it will make you happy like it made me!

Then when we got home we had a wonderful night with our friends… eating pizza and cupcakes, laughing, and playing poker. Not gonna lie… I KICKED BUTT!!!!

Tomorrow I am walking TWELVE miles. So my video will definitely be about how that goes!

Today I feel really blessed. How’s your weekend been?

We had a little mishap with Brett’s hair tonight when I tried to help cut it. Oops.

My self portrait shows where I have been almost the entire day. I’m feeling so sick.

But got tons of work done for the auction and I have more awesomeness to announce.
