I love all the pics! I always thought she was so pretty! But my most favorite pics out of the whole bunch are #3 because I adore black and white pictures, they capture a certain emotion and sort of-freeze the moment. (And Nicholle looks so relaxed and her dimple so cuteee!)

The other pic I loved the most was pic no.7 Because that’s how usually a girl head over heals in love with a man looks at him. Not to mention the background adds beauty to the couple’s warmth.

Carolyn Thompson - First of all, I must say how relieved I was to see that Craig is actually engaged to Nicholle and not “Nic”:) Anyhow, I definately have two favorite photos. #3 is fabulous! You really caught the moment. It is so genuine. But I also LOVE #5. His “posture” is great in that pic and I love her stance too and just the way she is looking on at him. That’s the one that would be on MY nightstand!

{Oh The People I Met}

Sorry I took a little hiatus from my blogging. Don’t worry – back to your regularly scheduled programming now. I realized I still have quite a bit to blog about Scarlett Lillian’s workshop, mainly the AH-MAZING people I met while I was there. Today I am going to tell you a little about the extracurricular activity I had the day after the workshop with Lan Bui, Vu Bui, Kathryn Brown, and Jessica Ashley. These are four awesome people. Jessica and Kaci are insanely talented and totally fun to be around! We decided to do a little sightseeing before we all headed off in different directions and we ended up going to this great driftwood beach.

Here’s the into video to our adventures:

We decided it would be cool to take some fun shots using the self-timer on Lan’s Canon. Oh the craziness that ensued.

So we tried to do the quintessential “jumping” shots.

Poor Kaci is pregnant and couldn’t get on the log before we all jumped.

And here is one of our final shots of the day.

I thought Lan was sooo sweet.

Oh and some fun facial expressions. {See why I was deceived by Lan?}

In all seriousness though, I had the best time on our beach excursion. And honestly, I can’t say enough good things about the Bui Brothers. They are some of the NICEST most GENUINE people I have met in the industry to date. When I am famous {which is coming very soon}, I am going to treat everyone the way the Lan and Vu do. For example, I couldn’t figure out how to download these images form Flickr and Lan emailed me a diagram complete with pictures on how to do it! And Vu helps me all the time with things like getting music for slideshows and how to get into the coolest WPPI Parties. I could seriously go on and on. But, best of all, they like my humor… and that makes them pretty awesome in my book. I’m sure I will have many more adventures with them in Vegas!

I can’t wait to go to the Workflow portion of their workshop at WPPI. Also, for all you Florida photographers… I am working on getting them here to do a workshop in our area!!!

Wow wow wow… Today I had a session with one of the most beautiful little girls ever. Just look at her pictures and you will have to agree with me. I love the level of sophistication in a first grader!!!! We shot all of these images at the Weston Town Centre which is an awesome place to shoot! Now without further ado…

{America’s Next Top Model Winner + Starbucks}

You may be wondering what an America’s Next Top Model winner and Starbucks have to do with each other… basically nothing. Other than the fact that if you leave me a comment with the image you like best and why, you could win a $5 Starbucks gift card! Woohoo… a coffee for a comment!

This past weekend at Scarlett Lillian’s workshop, I was blessed to be able to photograph America’s Next Top Model WINNER, Whitney Thompson. She was super sweet and totally down to earth… not to mention GORGEOUS! I love that Whitney’s entire message is about women being confident in what they have. I’m watching an interview of her right now and she says one of her biggest tips is to “Look confident. If you think that you are beautiful than everyone else will too.” Make sure you check out Whitney’s new candle and jewelry line, Supermodel.
